Site Assistant

Trillium Construction is now hiring in San Elizario, TX! 

Our client is a top utility scale solar provider and they are now looking to bring on a Site Assistant on a contract to hire basis in San Elizario, TX!

This is a great opportunity to develop new skills in the construction management industry. This project is a minimum of 6 months and the pay is up to $25 an hour depending on experience. Benefits are also optional (M/V/D, 401k, Holiday Pay, etc.) 

Duties:
-Monitor and direct construction traffic entering and leaving the site 
-Efficient at keeping paperwork in a tidy manner 
-Count and fill out forms to track material items delivered to the site 
-Fill out documents on computer and paper reporting 
-Monitor, report and document safety to EDF staff 
-Monitor and enforce Sign in activity 
-Monitor, report and document quality 
-Fill out daily report 
-Inspect soil erosion and sediment control measures 
-Receiving Material 
-Minimal labor (pick up rocks and debris)

Qualifications:
-Valid driver’s license 
-3 years construction, Leadership experience desired 
-Familiar with construction activity and safety guidelines 
-Mechanically inclined with construction experience 
-Ability to use and read a tape measure, read blue prints 
-Electrical experience a plus 
-Carpentry experience a plus 
-Minimum of OSHA 10 
-First aid trained a plus 
-Computer skills required 
-Any skilled trades experience training a plus.
